.
Thank you for all the continued praise and prayers.  There is power in Unity!!
If everyone reading this update immediatly said just a one sentance prayer, Heaven would receive many prayers!

April - 2012  -  THIS IS A PRAISE REPORT!  After three months and some new C-Scans etc. we are stil totally CNACER FREE! A+ report from the Dr. We want to confirm God's goodness to us and thank Him for all he's done.   Frank is still regaining his strength and has some feet and hand 'tingling' but that should fade away in the next few months. Thank You Jesus!!

January 29th, 2012 Sunday

For those facing a challenge today, I heard a whisper from the Lord this morning.
' This IS The Year of Miracles: There is an embryo of a MIRACLE within you. FEED it on the WORD of God. WATER it withTHANKSGIVING and PRAISE. WRAP it in a blanket of His PEACE and ANTICIPATE it's coming with JOY.'
The familly of God is here to hold you up.

January 11th, 2012 - Thursday

QUICK UPDATE from yesterday.  God's Word says. "Indeed I have spoken it; I will bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it."  Isa 46:11b   Yesterday was the day for the results from the final CT Scans .  The Dr. was pleased to report that there no sign of cancer anywhere in Frank's body!  When we asked the Dr. how many people get that kind of results he just said, "You are way above average".  We are so greatful to our medical help and so praising God for His hand in all of this! They have presented some followup options which we are prayerfully considering!   GOD IS GOOD! GOD IS TRUE TO HIS WORD AND HIS PROMISE.    (You can read that promise again at the beginning of this journal!)

January 5th, 2012 - Thursday   (Happy New Year Everyone!)

Well, the CT Scans are done. So excited to hear the good report when we go to the Oncologist on the 10th. Here is a thought from Frank for this week.
In the Book of Habakkuk -The question in 1:13 was "Why are You silent now?"
The Lord's reply in 2:3 "The vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak and not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; becasuse it will surely come, it will not tarry,"
* The events and challenges of the moment are not an indicator of our future.
PS 33:18-22  "Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield."

December 29, 2011 - Thursday

We are looking forward with great anticipation to the miracle report from the CT Scans on the 5th. The 'enemy' of our souls has tried to discourage us with seasonal sickness but our God is faithful and is more than able to bring us through the things that come to us on a daily basis. We were blessed with a great visit with our children for a couple of days over Christmas and we are so thankful for all our family. Pray for strength for Frank as he is going through the ' total weakness'  period that comes from having all that Chemo for so many weeks. It surely puts us in a place of quiet times before the Lord!   Praises to our Lord!

December 14, 2011 - Wednesday

Our God is so great!!!!!!!! WE ARE SO EXCITED! It has been a tedious couple of weeks with Frank so weak and just making himself go on but he is starting to feel a little stronger and today we visited the Uroligist.  He was just amazed at the visual scan he did on the bladder. The Dr. kept saying, "I can't see where there was ever any cancer in here!  I can't see where there was ever any cancer!"  We still have to have the scans and follow up appointments but we know God has brought about a complete healing beside these Drs.!! PRAISE GOD!!!!

December 1, 2011 - Thursday

Praising God for an increasing strength through the week. Not feeling as sick now and getting on with things. Weakness is a great frustration for a busy man!  A little sunshine is a good spirit booster as well! Always thankful for those days when they come. Continuing to pray for a clear biopsy and scan at the end of the month! Thank you again for the prayers and God bless you much!

November 28, 2011 - Monday

This was truely a week of Thanksgiving for us in a quiet celebration with our oldest daughter and her husband, and with her first grandchild. Our first Great-Grand-Daughter! This baby had a miracle healing of a defective heart and is a reminder of God's goodness always!
Frank felt well through the week and had only to rest occasionally to keep up his strength. Today was another Double chemo day and he wasn't feeling well when he got up but as the day has progressed he has felt increasingly ill. I am praying for God's mercy and strength for the days ahead through  this week. Next Monday is the last chemo before another series of scans and biopsy to check the progress of the treatment.  We are SO grateful for all the prayers and Frank can really feel these around him. Thank you again! God is able to get us through this and have His purpose accomplished through it! I am delighted to see the strength of spirit in Frank as we go from one day to another with all the different challenges. He is, as Paul once said, only eager to fulfill his purpose on this earth.
November 16, 2011 - Wednesday

Monday was another chemo day. After a very hard weekend of no strenght at all, Frank has been doing fairly well. this week. Thank you Jesus!  Even working and getting out for a meeting.  Nasty taste of chemicals still very annoying though.
Franks verse right now is " Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness." Psalm 37:3

November 9, 2011 - Wednesday

Monday was a 'double chemo' day again.  This time it went very well so far as getting it set up.  We are thankful to the Lord for the 'port' that receives and leaves his poor arms alone! Only 5 hours this time. Frank is finding a lot more issue with weakness this time.  It is getting harder to keep his normal work schedule going, but he surely tries! Praise the Lord there is no nausea!  God has been "singing" to his heart with an old song.  It's starts out - "There's a healing Jesus... "  So this weak we are praying for supernatural strength so that he can continue to work and minister during this time.  He is SO grateful those who are holding him up in prayer and he prays often for each of you!

November 3, 2011 - Thursday

Doing well, a few minor iritating things, not looking forward to the long chemo session Monday, but God has been good and it's been much easier with the 'port'.  Holy Spirit is faithful and has encouraged Frank with these few verses. GOD IS GOOD!
"For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, (or Drs. knife) piercing even to the division of soul and spirirt, and of joints and marrow (think red and white blood cells!), and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature (or cancer cell) hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to Whom we must account. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest Who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession."   Hebrews 4:12-14

October 31, 2011 - Monday

This has been a pretty good few days, physicallly.  Friday we had to go and have a 2 hour infusion of Megnesium but it was so much easier with the port in place! Thank God for that!  Weakness comes and goes in intensity but Frank is continuing to work and trust God for the financial side of this journey. He will provide, that we know. We have this week with no Chemo and then the double chemo again next Monday. Side effects have been minimal and we know God has blessed in that area as well!  It is so wonderful that we have been able to continue with sharing in our Home Group and ministering to others along the way. Your prayers are so evident to us and we are so grateful! Can't wait to see all the great things that God will use this journey for! Praises to our wonderful Father and Savior! ..and thank you Holy Spirit for walking with us!

Frank's verses of encouragement.  "Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have freed me when I was hemmed in and enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me and hear my prayer." Ps 4:1  "But even the very hair of your head are all numbered. Fear not, then; you are of more value than many sparrows!"  Matthew 10:30,31

October 25, 2011 - Tuesday

Sunday was a great day, although Frank was a little 'slow on the draw'!  Once again when we went to Home Group in the late afternoon, you could literally watch the strength come into him as he ministered and the Holy Spirit worked. What a great God we serve!  It was time again to go for the second chemo session for this 4 week period. Big glitch, we were at the hospital at 6am to wait on a surgery for a 'Port'.  A port is a little implant under the skin up by his shoulder and they can use that instead of the veins in his arms. The arms were not cooperating well at all. It did go well but once he'd recovered from that we had to go to Chemo at 1P and were there until 4p. This was one very exhausting day and deserved an early retiring time!!  He slept well, and awoke quite refreshed. We are SO grateful to God that we are not battling nausia etc. Weakness is the main difficulty.  We need to return for a big infusion of Magnesium but we are praising God for His joy in this journey! We surely have a new view of things for the families who have to deal with cancer, we will not forget!

October 21, 2011 - Friday

Quick update here.  On Monday morning we go @ 6:30a to get a 'port' installed! The viens are just being difficult. He will then have the chemo @ 1p.  This will be along day but we thank God he has not been ill....only a lot of weakness. Blessings!

October 17, 2011 - Monday

Monday this week was Day One, 2nd session,  for chemo. This was the the 5 hour one. Nurses had trouble finding the right vien but it very well other than that. It began to take it's toll by evening and today he is very tired and trying to rest a lot. He's doing pretty good with it. We have started to see some hair coming out into the comb, oh sadness! (It's mostly me that is sad! I love his white hair!)
Sunday was a rough start but once again when it came to Home Group in the evening, Frank revived before our eyes throughout the evening. Praise the Lord always!!!  God is really working amongst the prople of TPCC. (Our home church)
The following is a from Sunday. The Enemy is really going after our family right now!
But we know our God is Greater!!  When someone is thrown out a 'flipping car' window and the car lands on them and they only get a cracked rib and minor concussion, you KNOW God is watching over them even when that life is resisting Him!. God has promised to bring our children to Himself and we sure thank you for all your prayers for our family!

October 15, 2011 - Saturday

God has blessed us this week with a memory making few days with our youngest daughter and her girls. Thank you Lord! Frank did well but today is a difficult one.  He is having some strange pain etc. but God is with him. Thank you Bro.Frank F. for your word this week!!
He says - This is the verse that He gave me for you:  Romans 15:13  "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. "
Looking forward to a wonderful Sunday tomorrow! THANKS for all the prayers!

October 9, 2011 - Sunday

What a wonderful God we have! Frank has had a good week and is dealing with minor things really well. Sunday is a highlight each week. Worship strengthens and Home Group truely refreshes! We do not have to go to chemo this Monday, a weeks rest! We are beginning to see many small ministry 'happenings' that are a direct result of this 'trip' we are on. These will be journaled as we go along. We are SO grateful for all the prayers and encouragements along the way! Thank you!
Frank is very excited with a verse the Lord quickened to him this week.  Isaiah 49:24 & 25  NKJV
"Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, Or the captives of the righteous be delivered?  But thus says the Lord:  "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children." "

October 1- 2, 2011 – Sunday to Monday

Sunday being a Communion Day Frank went to church even though he felt very weak. God blessed him with strength enough to enjoy a good morning with our wonderful church family. Wonderful worship always a great way to go into the battle! He rested and prepared himself to go to home Group @ 5P. At Home Group it was amazing to watch him as the evening went by and he led the group his voice grew stronger and his so did he. By the end of the time we were there he was doing great! God really did bless his ministry.
Monday I was really hit with a deep chest cold or something so he was taking care of me instead! We went to Chemo at 1p and it went well. The blood tests showed normal red and white blood cells! The nurse said he must have very healthy bone marrow to produce those cells right now!! [The steroids the first 4 days from Chemo day apparently keep him fairly strong and then days 5 though 7 he has none and really crashes in strength. Sunday was truly a wonder according to that information!]  Praise God the prayer is truly holding him up! The peace that God gives has been amazing and we are encouraged. SO appreciate the prayers of ours friends and family!!

September 30, 2011 – Friday

Still not sleeping really well but still up early and in office to work! Took time out to read and pray together and back to work! Fatigue and heartburn a plague but otherwise, still doing well. Thanks so much for the ongoing prayers and care for us!. Had a neighbor offer to mow our little lawn, what a great guy!
Franks verse for yesterday was : “Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness (uprightness, justice, and right standing with You)! You have freed me when I was hemmed in and enlarged me when I was in distress: have mercy upon me and my prayer.”  Ps. 4:1 Amplified

September 26, 2011 – Monday

Day began early (7:30am) at the Chemo Center and we didn’t leave until 3 pm. Lots of sitting and some learning information about things. It was not a difficult day but we were really tired when it was over! God was so good because Frank has felt very little affect at all so far except a lack of energy! God is SO good and we definitley feel the prayers of the people! So many have encouraged us and all we can say is – stand back and see the God work! He has a purpose in all things and that is all we want for this life, that God would reveal Himself through each one of us! We are thankful for our huge ‘Community’ of love and support! God bless you all! GOD WILL BE GLORIFIED

September 26, 2011 – Monday -

Chemotherapy begins, 7:30 AM  This session about 4.5 hours

September 21, 2011 – Wednesday

Trying to adjust to living in a weakened physical state but strong in the spirit and full of the joy of the Lord anyway!
Awaiting Insurance release to proceed. ‘ Lord, give us Your perfect timing in all things! ...and release Frank from the grip of this cold coming on! Thank You, Jesus!”
Franks’ word for this day - 2 Cor 4:15-18  “ ...may cause thanksgiving to abound to the Glory of God....For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. “

September 20, 2011 – Tuesday

Franks’ word for this day – Thank you Gordon in Africa for sharing these with us!

[VS. 159 Quicken me according to thy LOVINGKINDNESS]
PS 121     [VS. 3  He that keepeth thee will not slumber.]
[VS. 5  The Lord is thy keeper.]
PS 46       [VS 1  God is a very present help in time of trouble]
[VS. 10 Be still and know that I am God]
[VS. 10 I will be exalted]

September 19, 2011 – Monday

Well, for those wanting the technical info, here it is. The Dr. said it was called Transitional Cell Carsonoma or Papillary Cancer. The cells have gone into the first layer of muscle below the bladder lining / they classified it as high grade cells. There is no convincing evidence that it has gone outside the bladder. They will begin Chemo on the 26th and the first one will be 4 hours, then the next Monday 1.5 hours and then a week off. This will repeat 4 to 6 times. Testing and etc. will go on throughout the treatment.  We are asking God for a minimum of ill feelings during this process, as far as it has to go on! God is SO wonderful to give us such peace in all of this, we definitly feel all of your prayers! ...and Frank is praying for all of you also!

Awoke early hearing only one word:  ‘ten’ -  Puzzled all day on that until I looked up the Biblical # 10 and found it is another number of completion and perfection – the last of 4 numbers. What an interesting mini study!  We know God is a God of completion and He has promised this for us!

September 14, 2011 – Wednesday

Frank's Word for this day – Ps 9:10-14 – (vs 13b,14 reads) – “You Who lift me up from the gates of death, that I may tell all Your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will rejoice in Your salvation.”

September 13, 2011 – Tuesday

Fatigued but encouraged in the Lord!  Frank received the scripture Psalm 103:5 from the Lord today and this evening received email from Africa from a couple of wonderful Pastors there. The scripture they sent was a confirming word! Psalm 103!!    Thank you friends for hearing from the Lord and for your great prayers!
“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”   PS 103:1-5   PRAISE THE LORD!
Why pray?  * I pray because: * I believe God hears and answers * of His promises in Hus Word * He has answered before * I love the peace and confidence that follows * I must pray, I am driven to prayer * Jesus said to pray    * Others are depending on me to pray * Only prayer release heaven to work * Prayer is worship.
[...and as someone added – praying in the Spirit is my lifeline to heaven!]

September 12, 2011 - Monday

This has been a pretty good weekend for Frank. Any day he can worship and minister to others is a good day and gives him joy! Hourly interruptions and some discomfort keep the body a bit tired but doing well otherwise. We are asking specifically for God to destroy the cancer cells as He has promised! We pray quickly but want God to have His perfect Will and receive all the glory. SO appreciate our praying friends!

September 8, 2011 - Thursday

A lot of discomfort today. We are praying that Frank will be able to continue with his ministry thru all of this.

8/7  "And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord."   Luke 1:45                          Thank you for this Word Jennifer!
(and I say..”My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced on God my Savior.”  Thank you Jesus!)
9/7 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.      Is. 54:12,13   Thank you Rose!
9/7  Franks Word for today “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

September 7, 2011 - Wednesday

Frank is doing OK. Slow to get back to normal but Dr. said to expect that. We are still going ahead as usual for the most part!  The next appointment is with the Oncologist on the 19th. Projected treatment is Chemotherapy for now.

September 6, 2011 - Tuesday

Finally spoke with Dr. this afternoon. He confirmed that the cancer is an invasive one in the bladder. There is some issue with the lymph nods he removed and perhaps some others, 2 very small ‘lesions’ on the lungs.
Recommended treatment is chemo for the next 3 to 6 months and then a reassessment. He has referred us to an oncologist.
Frank is feeling pretty good and things are beginning to slowly return to more normal functions. Thank you Lord!

September 5, 2011 - Monday

Not a lot of change over this weekend, Frank is doing pretty well.  We are enjoying time together and talking about what God is doing! Yesterday God blessed us with an assurance that He is with us in every area! So thankful to whomever heard the Lords voice to share in our finances!
*[8/5am] Actually got me to thinking about things like #’s.  like... 7 – it’s the number of Completion. God is truly going to complete the victory in this journey! When we received the envelope at service yesterday, there were 7 items inside. Hmm- odd # - but then 7 became alive for me! Looked it up and mulled it over.
[8/5pm] Sat down to read together and Frank read me the scripture about taking Jericho. I had to smile as he read. 7 days - a journey around the mountain. 7th day 7 trips around the mountain!! I told Frank about my day of ‘7’ and it was his turn to grin! “Well, today the Lord has had me in Matthew 7:7!” On Sunday Pastor had said  ‘Ask, Seek, and Knock’ and this has lodged in his mind. God gave him a new ‘view’ of this scripture which I will post as soon as he can get it into the computer for me! How exciting can it get!
A DAY OF COMPLETION!.
[8/6am] Woke up this morning with such a joy of anticipation – can’t wait to see what God has next!!  PC is giving me my own personal lesson in persistence this morning!

September 2nd,   Friday

Wow -- Don't be looking around for reasons, folks, LOOK AT JESUS, He's the answer to everything in our lives!!
(Who sinned?) Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." (John 9:3-5)
Thank you Lord for this wonderful WORD from You today!   .....and the joy and  anticipation builds!!!

September 1st. Thursday

Today we went to the Lab for a new CT Scan.  This one is to verify that there is no other places involved with the cancer presented in the bladder.
Still having a little difficulty from  the Monday surgery. Pain is pretty minimal though.
Next update on the tests will not be until Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
We are excited to see where God is going with all of this. Loving the scripture He gave to us from 2 Chron. 20.
Still planning to go to church on Sunday.

Thank you for all the continued praise and prayers.
